What to do if I still haven't got a second year house at Cardiff University?
Im a second year at Cardiff University and haven't been able to find any second year accomodation. I really, really don't want to go into halls and just wanted to find a nice, fun group of people to live with and live with friends like everyone else but couldn't manage to even do that. I can't find anything on stuff like sparerooms, can't afford to live private or alone, can't find anything on groups like Snapchat or Facebook, and can't find anything on the Cardiff student union housing list either. I feel hopeless right now and feel like im going to be homeless

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this!
I think more spare rooms tend to become available closer to the date as people, which is scary to wait for I know, but also no harm in putting up a post yourself as well, asking for a room.
I would recommend maybe going to speak to student advice in the Students' Union, as they can help more specifically, as you can see on this link.
Also if you haven't already I would recommend going to Cardiff Student Lettings, in the SU, and explaining your situation, and ask if they hear of people who need a room or a another person to contact you!
In addition to this, I know you said you didn't want to live in halls, but if you applied to become a student resident life assistant, then they have many live-in residents, and they pay for your accommodation in the halls I believe, (it is work at the same time yes, but could be another option to look into).
