Hi, congratulations on your offer!

Here are some handy tips to help you choose the right accommodation.

🏠 Undergraduate Accommodation Applications for 2025/26 Opening Soon! 🏠
Applications for University of Nottingham accommodation for the 2025/26 academic year will open on 1st April. You’ll be able to apply if you’ve firmly accepted your offer (conditional or unconditional) - allow 48 hours after accepting your course offer before registering on the accommodation online portal.

Things to consider when choosing your accommodation:
💷 Budget: Take some time to plan your finances. What do you need to cover essentials like rent and food? What will you have left for social activities or extras?

🍽️ Catering: Would you enjoy the convenience of catered accommodation, giving you more time to study and socialise? Or do you prefer to cook your own meals and have more flexibility?

📍 Location:

Are you drawn to quieter areas or a livelier atmosphere?

Do you want an ensuite room? Take a look at our room tours!

Where will your lectures take place? St Christophers court is for students who are studying GEM, A108 Undergraduate Medicine with Foundation Year, Medical Physiology and Therapeutics, postgraduate research students of the Division of Medical Sciences and Graduate Entry Medicine

in st christophers since i dont fancy commuting from nottingham, but i'm kind of confused. I feel like there's not much guidance for a108 students as idk whether to still apply for nottingham accomodation as a backup option

St Chrisophers is useless, stay at The Croft, much nicer accomodation. I am there this year and renewing.

Hello @summertimes1824

Just to let you know (this has been covered elsewhere on TSR, but I thought I would mention it again if it helps with your own arrangements) that from the start of next academic year the teaching for A108 will be happening in Nottingham, rather than Derby, so all Medicine students will be together. Lots of good options for accommodation in Nottingham, either with the University or through another organisation, if you prefer.

Accommodation

All best,
