CYI for another year

Hi,

Last year we had a CYI assessment for tax year 23/24 and the figures were used again for this year’s assessment.

Our income fell again and I would like to do another form for 24/25.

The CYI form 24/25 asks if I have given details for tax year 22/23 (PFF2), do I need to provide these details as well?

Thanks for your help

Yes

In order to use CYI you need to provide the initial tax year income requested. SFE can then check if income has dropped by more than 15%

Hi there,

When did you course start in the 2024/25 academic year? Did you finalize the previous Current Year Income form with the Pr2 form?

Thanks, Drew

The course started September 2023 and this is the second year starting September 2024.
In 24/25 our income has dropped again by more than 15%.
Yes we finalised the income figures for 23/24.

Hi there,

It is to late to submit a Current Year Income form and the sponsors will need to complete the PR2 form for the 2024/25 academic year. This can be uploaded from the online account with the P60s they will get this coming April.

Thanks, Drew

Thanks

But what I was asking was if I need to provide 22/23 income details because I already provided details for a more recent tax year 23/24.

Hi there,

Your sponsor would not need to support the application the way they would normally do because we have more up to date information for them.

Thanks, Drew
