BCC-AAA in 2 months! A level 2025 med

Can I go from CCB in a level biology AQA, chemistry AQA, and maths edexcel (respectively), in 2 months? I can usually learn things quite fast, I’m just worried about applying my knowledge, especially for biology. I want to do medicine, so AAA are the lowest grades I can get.

For 60% the spec, I barely know any of the content, and for the other 40% I know well.

I’m basically just asking if anyone has done this before and if it’s possible?

Thanks

Hey,
It’s definitely possible, however I would highly recommend:
Printing out your course specification and having it where it would be visible, annotating it and such!
Past papers, study groups, study sessions, reach out to your teachers for extra support, tutoring if needed! I would personally advise getting a whiteboard or such and writing all the modules of your subjects, and writing down every single thing you know about them, then go in with a different colour and fill in the gaps where you’re missing content.

From what my friends have told me, biology is quite a content heavy subject, I took A-level maths and it was mostly applying content to the questions.
Doing past papers in timed conditions and seeing where you’re missing marks is good, or learning exam structures so you know where to concentrate most of your time.
Remember to take some breaks, look after yourself and find a good study playlist!

I’ve found some links for you that might help:

In my opinion, try ur hardest and maybe focus on subjects you are best at and get A/A* if there is any subject you got lower than an A you can take a gap year and resit. I know of people that got into medicine doing this, Im assuming their predicted grades were quite high considering they took a whole year to resit. But when it comes to ur application maybe apply strategically to unis that allow resits. There are honestly so many options please don't feel like medicine is the only path many of my friends switched from medicine to optometry, neurology ect due to comp being too high and got into Russel groups. Overall I would say just try your best and don't get too disheartened if it doesn't go to plan because there are always other paths and options. Also my friend has CCB and got into Nottingham medicine on a foundation year if you are applicable for contextual offers I would try that.

Yeah you can plus still have a while. You need to do past papers and specimen to become familiar with the mark scheme. But use a lot your time to go over the content that you don’t understand. For chem maybe watch allery chemistry, for bio maybe watch miss estruch. Also for the bio 25 marker you could look at exemplar answers online. You could look at examiner reports too. And definitely the textbook. If you still struggle, you can ask your teacher to explain it to you or ask them what you can do to improve

It's not fair. I got the same as you in my mocks because I didn't revise cuz of interviews and I revised super hard for 4 months before exams only to get BBC. I worked incredibly hard but I still missed my Med offer (ABB) by a long shot.

*she 🤣 but basically I used UpLearn for Chemistry and completed the whole course. While watching the videos, I made flashcards instead of regular notes, that way I could use them later for active recall. After that, I went through every past paper (some of them twice) and even did a few old-spec ones. I added all my wrong answers into Quizlet and reviewed them before each new paper. Whenever I noticed I was weak on a topic, I’d go back over my flashcards or redo the relevant UpLearn module until it clicked. I ended up with an low A* in paper 1 and 3, and low A in paper 2, so an overall A. But keep In mind I was at a C 2 months before si if I had more time I probs could have got an A*. But my biggest tip is past papers, cos you find that the questions start to repeat themselves
