A Level resits while in uni??

I previously did A level biology and chemistry, for which I got D and E respectively. I got into university through clearing and I am doing an undergraduate course that gives me access to graduate entry medicine (GEM) if I get a first-class; which is what I want to apply to after my current course. I am not sure if I should resit my A levels to optimise my chances of getting into medicine, this is for undergraduate medicine, as GEM does not require A level grades if I get a first-class.

Resitting A levels externally is costly and I am already at university, so I am not sure if resitting would be worth it or not.

What should I do?

Completely pointless. The amount of time, effort and money would distract you entirely from your degree, whilst not actually make any difference to your eventual application. Work your socks off, get a First and apply for GEM if Med then still interests you.

As above, it doesn't add anything so there really isn't much point.
Remember to try to get some good work experience and volunteering to talk about in interviews.
Best of luck!
