med students commuting to qmul?

hey! i have an offer for med from qmul but it will take me about an hour to get there. i want to save money by not living out for as long as possible, but i dont know if that will be possible because of the travel time. what is the med timetable like for the first 2/3 years? do you think id be able to commute for at least the first 2 years? also, would it be difficult to make friends if i commute (im not very extroverted and im the only one from my school going to this uni for med😭)?

travelling one hour is not long at all, I would say alot off students commute to save money. I am a undergrad doing maths at a university in central London and it takes me 1 hour. you pretty much get use to it tbhh
