I’m a year 13 student also doing AQA econ, and this is the structure I use for my 15 and 25 markers:

Intro
1. Outlines key words or policies
2. Links key words or policies to specific topics eg. Regressive taxes on demerit goods such as cigarettes and alcohol
3. Open the discussion of what graph you’ll use

Paragraph basic structure
—> write up to 3 paragraphs, with counter arguments
1. Main definition/policy
2. PEAL it —> point, evidence, analysis and LINK!
3. Reference back to the graph using in the answer
4. Counter argument (if possible) and LINK again

Conclusion
—> 15 markers have shorter conclusions, can be a sentence long or you sometimes don’t even need one if you’re talking about policies or specific definitions
—> 25 marker conclusions usually need an agree or disagree to the question, then use this structure:
1. Agree/disagree because…
2. Talk about the long run or short run causes
3. State a theorists interpretation (if you know one, if not you can talk about a Marxist or free market interpretation of the policy/debate)
4. Use indefinite words such as ‘sometimes’, ‘it may’, ‘could’ or ‘should’ etc to help show how it is only theoretical and may not always work in the real world because of economic shocks that could occur

This basic structure has helped me get A’s throughout without revising much content, so it definitely works

I'd love to help, what about your essays are you finding difficult? Structuring them? Is it the actual content (Eg diagrams and chain of analysis) that you're struggling with?
