Optometrist going into Financd

Hi everyone,

I am a newly qualified optometrist working in a high street practice. I am getting to a point where I no longer feel passionate about this job especially the lack of flexibility, working weekends and having capped salary progression.

I am increasingly interested in transitioning to finance or strategy consulting but I have no background in finance at all. I am considering an online Msc finance (Ucl or King’s or Bayes) to get familiar with finance before finding an analyst job or such. I am not sure if this is a good move.
