I can't confirm this as the application would need to be assessed based on your answers and income.

If you don't want to apply for a Tuition Fee loan from us, it's up to you how you pay the university as we wouldn't deal with self funding.
Your income will only affect your Maintenance Loan not your Tuition Fee.

Can I do anything with this money to avoid it affecting my maintenance loan?
I’d prefer to use my trust fund to pay for university fees, but if the trust fund wasn’t there I would be eligible for the max maintenance loan & don’t want to miss out on this as I know I’ll need it.
Is there any way I can put the trust fund to the side/in another account so it doesn’t count, and simply take out a loan for uni fees?

I can't advise you on what to do with this money as that's not our place to say. Trust fund income is considered student unearned income so it will be taken into account.
The money won't affect your Tuition Fees, so you can still apply for these, and the Maintenance Loan will be calculated based on your unearned income and your parental household income if you are under 25. Thanks, Leah.
