Doing exercise to try and enjoy it rather than to achieve a certain physique?

Hey all,

Lately, my mentality has changed when it comes to exercise. I only do what I enjoy and it’s not really in my mind to achieve a certain physique now. The reason why I’m making this is because whenever I went to the gym, I eventually stopped enjoying it and therefore, stop my exercises, but recently I decided to take it easy and only do exercises I enjoy or at the very least, make the exercises easy and then gradually try and do it harder once I find enjoyment.

Really, I’m only doing 1 x 10- 15 press-ups 3 - 4 days a week and 1 x 10 squats for the same time length. It definitely will not make a noticeable difference, but what I’m trying to do is enjoy these exercises so that in a way, once I enjoy them and do them with much more ease, that’ll be the gateway to start enjoying other exercises.

What do you guys think?

Start small like you are, once what you are doing is enjoyable and manageable try adding some variety or a little more to your routine, its great to establish that routine first, any extra exercise is going to be good for your body
