northeastern university london essay competition

Did anyone else compete in this competition? I got finalist but I'm confused. Is anyone also going to the event?

Hey I did the competition last year and was a finalist.

You don't have to go to the event if you do not want to, I believe they email out copies of the certificate as well. Essentially they gave us a run down on who NLU were and what it would be like to study there and then a few sessions on: How to create a good LinkedIn profile, Wellbeing and then an Interdisciplinary Project where you were talking with students & professors from other subjects categories on how to approach a problem from your subjects perspective.

The certificate celebration was very informal for us, we went to collect the certificates & medals from a table and could take photos against the backdrop or with a mascot.

Does that mean that people who don't go to the event can't get the certificates? Is it possible for you to email the certificates online? It will help very much in applications.

Did you guys get your e-certificates emailed? The awarding’s already over so I was wondering when we’d get emailed our e-certs as someone who couldn’t attend the awarding celebration personally.
