Should I appeal masters rejection: law

I'm basically at the end of my degree and things are really looking dire. I tried my best but my mental health really got the better of me and that minimum 2:1 grade I'll need for a law degree, is looking less and less easy to achieve.
In my university, there's an option for us to do an integrated masters the mlaw. I saw this as a good option as I really do not know what I want to do currently and this will help with my overall grade and be more likely to get me a 2:1. 1 applied for it and my university said we had to have achieved 50% in second year. I achieved 49% but have extenuating circumstances (I was diagnosed with ADHD and was not given support until recently in which my grades have improved to 2:1 grades) my university said they will consider all applications but they declined almost instantly saying my grade was too low and as was my attendance. I am having some mental and health issues which contributed to that attendance. I spoke to my university counseller about it and she said I should appeal on the grounds of disability discrimination or something like that. I'm not really that's a thing but I was thinking about appealing because when I got that rejection I felt lost again. What would you guys do? Give it up or try and appeal.
Has anyone ever appealed a masters and w feel like I have proper reasons.

Did your referee explain the reason for your grade trajectory in your application?

Yes, I put everything.

In that case I think an appeal is less likely to be successful, but could still be worth a try. In some instances, they may just reject you quickly based on your grades, without drilling into detail on your ref and personal statement. We know at least that they reviewed your attendance.

The key to any appeal is to be as polite and rationale as you can. State that whilst you are naturally disappointed with the initial decision, you'd like to request an appeal/review on the follow grounds. Outline your health issues, (hopefully mentioned in your ref and PS), and offer to provide any supporting evidence if necessary. Highlight your grades and attendance since your diagnosis and state that you feel you're now in a much better position to continue your studies.
