Right, where to start with this one...
There are 4 main sites that I recommend people look into for career quizzes and looking through job profiles:
https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/explore-careers (https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/explore-careers/job-sector)
https://www.prospects.ac.uk/ (https://www.prospects.ac.uk/job-profiles/browse-sector)
https://www.careerpilot.org.uk/job-sectors (https://www.careerpilot.org.uk/job-sectors/sectors)
https://life-pilot.co.uk/job-sectors/sectors (no quizzes)

The biggest takeaway from the job profiles is that not all jobs require degrees and qualifications. If you have multiple careers that you're interested in and some will require specific qualifications, do the qualifications for those that need them (the bottlenecks) and then allow yourself to pivot to other fields that you are interested in should you wish to do so. Do also note, professional qualifications are not the same thing as degrees, and professional qualifications aren't expensive or as long as degrees.

There is also the MBTi for careers (google for this), which I suppose is more credible than a random quiz from above. Having said that, all quizzes are like rules of thumb instead of a hard science. This is similar if you ask an AI (e.g. ChatGPT) to ask you psychological and career related questions to figure out what sort of careers would suit you. Let me know if you need an idea for a prompt.

I would also do a lot of self reflection to be sure whether the career is the sort that you want, and ideally do an internship or work experience at the place of work where possible (more challenging to do). The sort of questions that come to mind include:

What do you need form a career other than money?

What are you strengths and weaknesses?

If you were to do the same thing day in day out, what sort of work won't bore you and what sort would drive you up the wall?

What have people complimented you on or sought your help with?

What sort of people did you grew up around? What were their professions?

What values do you have and what do you really don't want to stand for?

What gets you out of bed every morning? What would make you look forward to your day?

If you were to design an ideal life or day, what would it entail and what would you do?

Are you introverted, extroverted, or ambiverted?

When was the last time you were truly excited and felt alive? What were you doing exactly?

What subjects in school did you excel in? Which ones did you do less well in?

If money was not an issue, would you be willing to do the same job or work for free?

What did you thought you wanted to do when you grew up from 5 years old?

If you met your friends and family for the first time, what sort of job did they thought you should be doing? What compliments do you get from strangers and what sort of job do they think you would do?

There are other questions that you can ask yourself, but the above should get you started. If you need to, you can ask ChatGPT (or another AI) to generate you a list of some of the above questions.
