Student Finance help neeed

I used the gift year in my first degree (this was part-time for 6 years but took 7 years). I failed the first year of my nursing degree, an exempt course. Can I receive the extra year for the nursing degree to pay the fees and the maintenance loan?

Also, does my first degree have any impact on any of these situations

Hi there. Are you on the Nursing course now? If so, have you ever repeated a year on the Nursing course? Thanks, Leah.

No I would have started the second year in January 2025 could not enroll due to not passing first year which I started in January 2024. I have not repeated any year on the nursing course as I only started it in Jan 2024. This would be my first repeat year for the nursing degree

Hi there, as the nursing course is considered as a new course, the repeat year would be available as the previous study would not be counted as repeat study. Thanks, Stephen.
