Mature student (Chemistry) at Loughborough Accommodation help

Hi! I've selected Loughborough as my firm choice for my Chemistry degree starting Sept 2025 and suddenly realising suitable non-halls accommodation is absolutely evaporating... The few one bed apartments are so far away from campus, too expensive and have something weird about them like they don't have an oven... I'm going to have to broaden my options, anyone out there open to a 2 bed flat share situation close to campus with a chill 36 year old science nerd?

Have you tried all of the accommodation providers?
Top-lets/loc8 me/donkey digs/ryan hill/eco care student/Nick Humphreys etc
Worst comes to worst, there's spareroom as well.

Ah yeah i've scoured them all, i'm in the process of adjusting my expectations and making some choices, life be lifin' eh? But actually i've not heard of spareroom? It's a sort of 'roommate needed/spare room available' type of thing i presume? I'll look into it, thanks!
