Title: Firming PwC Flying Start (AAA) vs. Bristol Economics (AAB) – Need Advice!

Hey guys, I need some advice on my uni choices.

I have an offer for PwC Flying Start at Manchester (AAA) and two offers from Bristol:
Economics (AAB, reduced from A*AA)
Economics & Finance (ABB, reduced from AAA)

I want to go into Banking (IB, AM, etc.), and I know Bristol Economics is a strong degree for that. But with PwC, I’d have guaranteed work placements, ACA exams, and job security, making it easier to pivot into banking later.

However, the risk with Bristol is not securing summer internships, which could make it harder to get a grad role in banking. On the flip side, if I did Bristol and got top internships, I’d be in a stronger position than with PwC.
1. Which should I firm and which should be insurance?
2. If I get AAB, could Bristol let me switch from Econ & Finance to straight Econ?

Would appreciate any insight! Thanks.

If I were you I'd firm and insure those two uni choices but accept the PwC apprenticeship. On results day request if bristol could defer your offer (and make sure to cancel student finance ofcourse). This way if you end up doing PwC for a year but don't like it for whatever reason you can still do uni.

Okay thank you, yeah I never thought about the option to defer

The PwC degree is an actual degree on UCAS so if they start doing it then it then the Bristol offer won't exist anymore.
