Studying Nursing in Wales NHS funding

Please can you advise on student finance regarding Nursing Degrees in Wales? I am due to study nursing at the University of Aberystwyth in September, as I am an English student I applied to SFE for funding, but I have since heard that I should apply for NHS funding from the NHS in Wales as I intend to move and work as a nurse in Wales after I quality, please could you give me any information, it's really confusing!

You can apply for the NHS Wales Funding Scheme if you can commit to work in Wales as a nurse for two years after graduating, this will cover your tuition fees plus some additional maintenance funding, please do check out our FAQ pages on this here: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/hec/faqs/nursing-faqs/#are-there-any-scholarships---bursaries-available

It doesn't always make financial sense for an English student to study nursing in Wales due to the reduced maintenance loan. If you don't have support from elsewhere, it might be better for you to stick with SFE funding or you could struggle to cover your living costs.
