Can I leave one college (16 years old) at easter, to then transfer in september.

I am currently doing A-levels at a college, i have recently undergone some career decisions in which i will be transferring course and college. I intend to do an AS Level but must wait until next year as i have missed the deadline. I am currently at the easter break and have covered the specification for the AS levels. Can i leave this college now and just wait until September to start at the new place? i would not be in education until september this means and not sure of the law.
