What language technique is used in the quote a unrelenting nightmare

“unrelenting” pretty sure it’s being used as a factual adjective to describe the abstract noun (pretty sure cause nightmares are a state or feeling or concept) “nightmare” to describe how to author is being haunted or tormented by the nightmare.
