Help choosing which uni to pick

Have you checked the costs and door to door time for travelling to each? I think that might be a tie breaker.

So originally I wanted to do accounting & finance in city but couldn’t cuz they required a grade 7 in maths , I hv a 6 so applied for Business with finance with a placement yr. The content in this course has accounting but the basic and it touches on every aspects of finance.
Although the PwC programme was my first option but unfortunately I was unsuccessful after the video interview however they gave me a conditional offer for another course - accounting and management with placement experience. Also they said I’m eligible for one of their scholarships however it’s not guaranteed to get if I apply. I personally like the content in this course as it’s surrounds accounting which was what I wanted to do originally.
I live in West London, 45~ mins away from City and 1 hr ~ away from Reading.
Now my issue is which would be the best option to choose in terms of employability support, student life and other factors.

Hey! 👋 I'm studying Sociology with Psychology and Data Analytics at City, and I did a 10-day placement spread over 10 weeks as part of one of my modules. We were given a list of organisations to choose from, and our module leader helped us with CVs and getting the placements we wanted, which really showed how well City's connected with different organisations. It made me feel more confident about finding internships and future work experiences.
For employability, I'd say City has a big advantage because it's in central London .📍 There are loads of events, networking opportunities, and the careers team is always running workshops and giving advice on applications and interviews.
In terms of the student experience, I really like the campus. There are quiet areas for focused study in the library, but also more relaxed areas around uni if you just want to work on your laptop or meet for group projects. There are also a few cafes and social spaces that make it easy to relax and catch up with friends between classes. ☕
The commute does take time, but being in central London makes it worth it, everything's so well-connected and there's always something happening.
City's also great for student support, whether it's wellbeing, careers advice or academic help, there's always someone to speak to. 🧠✨
Overall, I think City is a good choice for employability and opportunities, just because of its location, connections, and support. But if you feel more drawn to the course at Reading, that's also something to think about.
