Biochemical Engineering UCL VS Molecular Bioengineering Imperial

Please could anyone recommend between these 2 courses prospective future career
What is work life will be? We would like to avoid lab and R&D (few years in Uni is fine)

Our daughter A level Maths A* Biology&Chemistry A*A*
She is interested in DNA gene Genomic Telomere. doesn't like electric course

We are interested in Biotechnology course too, but not sure what Uni (and found that BEng would be better for her rather than BSc as she is excellent in maths)

Hi, I recently applied for both of these courses and I am firming imperial and putting UCL as my safety. With these degrees you are able to be pretty flexible and can switch into other careers after (e.g finance, tech, etc). All engineering courses are very maths/physics focused, whereas biotechnology and bio chemistry will be focused more on biology/chemistry. Both courses will have lots modules involving DNA.
Between imperial and UCL, the molecular course is focused more on chemistry than biology, but UCL focuses more on biology. Both have great facilities and teaching so it is probably up to personal preference (imperial slightly more competitive/prestigious imo)
I would recommend going to the open days and visiting the departments to get a better idea. Watch videos on YouTube and on the websites about the course and students feedback. Maybe would be interested in biochemistry as well instead of biotechnology so look into that.
