Glasgow Caledonian

I applied to the new optometry with independent prescribing which I unfortunately got rejected from.
The thing is that I have no clue what to do from this because it’s what I wanted the most and now there's so many alternatives. I applied to law and also diagnostic imaging at Glasgow Caledonian and I've received offers from that but optometry was the only option in my head when picking courses. I don't know what to do from here do I do law or diagnostic imaging or do I take a gap year and reapply next year? If I consider a gap year what should I do in that time? I've also messaged gcu and they've said I can do applied science HNC but I don't want to risk that. Im also thinking about clearing but honestly I don't know if that's very likely. If possible if anyone doing law or diagnostic imaging at gcu can tell me what's it like please let me know.
