Do I like my best friend?

Me and my best friend have been friends since the beginning of the year and we dated at first but it didn’t work out due to miscommunication. But I have been going through a lot lately mentally and shes been the most supportive and caring friend and she always giving me this look of concern and we are always together and have 6 out of 9 classes together. Today we were joking around and I said give me a kiss like I always do it’s a way of joking around and. But she actually leaned in and we were very close to kissing. I got scared and jolted away and we laughed it off and evreything else was normal. I really don’t know how I feel.(we are both girls)

^^^ It's entirely possible. It would be weird to lean in for a kiss with someone you weren't attracted to on some level, even as a joke

At least you are asking the right question, "Do I like her?" Most threads on here from people in this kind of situation seem to ask "Does she like me?" which is just not answerable without a crystal ball.

I suggest you think about doing all the usual romantic things with her and see how the prospect of doing those things makes you feel. It's normal to feel a little scared.

They are certainly comfortable with being up close face to face, which implies intimacy

Yea but all my friends are like that they all act very gay if I’m being honest.
