Question about formula marks

Do you only get a mark for actually writing down the full formula, or do you also still get one for writing it down but with substituted values? Just wondering because I'm looking to cut down the time spent on questions. I've attached an example for anyone confused. For reference, I do edexcel a level physics.

You gets marks for using an equation / formula, not simply quoting it verbatim. Some examples from a recent Excel A level Physics mark scheme:

There is no need to quote the formula - just use it.
