Student Support Loan / Evidence / DLA

I am starting University this September and have just started my SFE application. I have also applied for DSA on the basis of a visual impairment/partial blindness. When I started my application I got the option to apply for SSL however the evidence they are asking for is a DLA claim, which I received DLA up until I turned 16 then had to put forward a claim for PIP which was declined and I did appeal twice and still declined. What do I do in this situation as can I even provide evidence for once being eligible for DLA if I do not receive it anymore?

It won’t let me edit my post , but I’ve had a little dig and am I even eligible for SSL as it was prompted to me asking if I was disabled and if not how do I remove this from my application?

Hi there,

You don't need to do anything in this case, you can ignore this request for evidence: it won't affect your application, don't worry.

If you ever get PiP at a later date you can then upload your evidence online and the assessment team can review this.

Thanks, Graeme
