Can dependant visa qualify for student loan

So I am on a dependant visa and my mum is on the skilled worker visa, I have an aunt and uncle who are on the eu settlement scheme and have live in the uk for years, although my dependant visa makes me a “visitor” to the uk, will staying here for 3 years and having a family member who has residency in the uk give me the eligibility for student finance
Currently in my first year and I am already worrying about it

Hi there,

When does your course begin? When did you first arrive in the UK?

Thanks, Graeme

Hi there,

You'd need to have a status in order to apply for the funding. I've enclosed further information here in relation to this: https://www.gov.uk/check-what-undergraduate-student-finance-you-can-apply-for-depending-on-your-nationality-and-residency

Thanks, Jason

So the fact that I have family with settled status can’t help me?

That's correct. You'd need to have a valid status of your own to qualify. Thanks, Jason
