Is it weird/rare to go for less animated women?

I guess I'm biased so I'd say 'still waters run deep' somehow. My dad always said he couldn't stand women who try and be vivacious and I think I inherited it. I.aoways go for the calmer more mysterious and reserved type. But judging by social media and online dating everyone prefers animation and verbosity. Of course I also have liked women a lot who have no social media presence, there seems something less cool and needy about using it constantly. Anyway, am I weird for this trait? Some would say boring no doubt.... And where do you stand on the old proverb?

Of course it’s ok to find whatever you find attractive, attractive. And while being extravert is often an advantage in dating, being quieter has its takers and is no barrier. As to the proverb, it may be true, but turbulent waters probably run just as deep
