UAL (CSM) - product and industrial design

i applied to ual (csm) for product and industrial design back in december and submitted my portfolio in early january, it's been almost 4 months and they still haven't got back to me. has anyone else who applied to the same course got any updates on their application or interview requests yet???

Hi, I applied in december for this same course and also submitted my portfolio in early Jan, so I had been waiting for the same amount of time. I finally only heard back last week and got an email for an interview, which I did yesterday! The interviewer assured me they just take a long time to go through the applications and the wait time doesn't mean anything, so I'm sure they'll get back to you soon.

I got an interview invite a couple days ago as well! I’m going to book mine for next week. How did yours go??

Glad you’ve heard back! My interview went quite well, it was chill. I was worried because I’d heard mixed experiences from people, but the interviewer was really friendly. He asked questions specific to my portfolio, then general questions about why I want to do the course etc, and some others. There weren’t any set questions as I had expected, a lot of them were just based on our discussion.

I also had the guy for my interview last week, he was so nice, and I just got my offer yesterday!

i got my offer this week as well, im not sure if i want to firm it tho… bc everything will be expensive 😭😭

good luck, i'm sure your interview will be great!! i heard back straight away as he offered me a place in the interview, it was really surprising : )

That’s amazing!!! I think I will insure it, I’m not sure of it cost-wise and just the school itself. What about you?

I’m not too sure either 😭 I’ll probably insure it as well tho, where else have you got offers from?
