‼️ I was scammed by "Ark Wembley" ‼️ Be carful of their scam ‼️
Avoid this accommodation at all costs!!! This is definitely a scam!!!! They scam your deposit by selling you the unit doesn’t exist!!! They don’t care you’ll become homeless only ask you to cooperate with their new move in date.
I was promised by agent Dmitry Trishchev that a studio would be available from 6 September 2024, and based on that, I paid a £500 holding deposit. But later, Veronica Ortega told me that nothing was available until 26 September.
To justify delaying the referencing process, they falsely claimed my mother in Taiwan was my landlord (she’s not — I simply lived at home). Then, just days before 26 September, without me submitting anything new, they suddenly claimed my application was approved.
Even worse, on 5 September, Veronica said nothing was available before 26 September — but on 9 September, I received another email by Dmitry Trishchev saying my booking was from 7 September? Our deal is 6 September. Their internal communication contradicts itself and shows a complete lack of integrity. They really think everyone is foolish.
On 18 September, I was told that my referencing was accepted and I would receive a contract to sign. However, on 23 September they cancelled my booking, and on 26 September I was still contacted by their referencing provider Homeppl asking for information — clearly proving that the referencing process was also a scam.
I had to find alternative accommodation in less than two days and never moved in. Despite multiple written refund requests, they kept my £500 and stopped replying.
This was clearly a bait-and-switch. I’ll be pursuing this through the small claims court and filing reports to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.

Today (28 March 2025), they called me using a hidden number. They said their team had changed and refused to refund me. I told them I already filed a small claim. The staff laughed at me on the phone — when I asked what was funny, he denied laughing and changed the topic.
He also tried to scare me by saying I couldn’t record the call. That’s not true — I recorded it for legal protection, not to share or publish. That’s allowed under UK law.
Even if the team had changed, they still has no honesty and no shame. Stay far away
