Deloitte Apprenticeship or KCL Economics

Hii,

Ive recently got an offer for tax consultancy 4 years apprenticehsip with deloitte studying ACA and CTA level 7. But i also i have a kings econ offer.

I want to get into consultancy hopefully with MBB in the future, which route do you think would best, i thought the apprenticeship would be better given the experience but maybe not due to the service line.

or maybe senior consultant roles require a bachelors degree, im honestly not too sure, just feeling confused as i deffered my kings offer to take a gap year to get a DA offer,

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated

Also im not too sure if i want to go into high areas of finance like private equity (not ib tho), or consultancy (I also dont want to go into accounting) more likely consultancy but im not sure at this stage, money is a big factor for me as the starting salary is around 27k for 1st year apprenticeship, but if i can get into higher areas long term doing a degree might be better, but also kings is only a semi-target. I would be part of the private team during my apprenticeship.

I know this thread was 2 months ago but personally I would go with Deloitte apprenticeship as you're right to point out KCL is only semi-target, if the choice was between LSE econ I think that would've been a more worthwhile debate. If you're more keen on consulting versus accounting in terms of career it also makes sense to do the apprenticeship as I feel like consulting is less focused on a degree. Either way job market is tough right now so I feel like experience is more valuable.
