Reading accommodation

I have already applied for accommodation at reading and I went with Benyon halls. However the more i look at any social media around redding accom and stuff no one seems to mention it as a suggestion. Have i made a mistake choosing Benyon halls or is it just not talked about a lot?

People don't usually write about university accommodation online - it's a room and a kitchen at the end of the day= as long as you're happy with the facilities it'll be ok

Good evening,

Benyon Hall is a popular accommodation option as it has great outdoor spaces and large rooms. Some students tend to live on the close to campus accommodation, however, this is a great option for students who don't mind the short walk to campus.

The Student Crowd website is a good place to look at students' honest Benyon Hall Reviews.

Overall, the accommodation is very similar to all of the others, as the majority of the accommodations have similar furnishing styles and bedroom sizes. The main differences are the distance from campus and the self-catering vs catered.

We currently have a thread for 2025 applicants, where new students can find and talk to each other. Similarly, the student ambassadors have posted key tips for joining the university.

I hope this information helps; if you have any more questions, please let us know.

All the best,
Ella
