Compliance Caseworker Manager (410R)

Hey, anyone applied for this role? How did you find the judgement test, and have you heard back regarding a pre-recorded interview?

I don't think this is one where you will hear about pre-recorded interviews before the vacancy ends. It says so on the job ad as below:

If you successfully pass the tests, you will later be invited to complete a video interview. Details regarding the interview will be sent to candidates who pass their tests on a date to be confirmed once this advert has closed.

Also, they will be utilising holding pools so if one chooses a location that has no vacancy, then there may be no face to face presentation until after a vacancy opens in that location. That's what I understood from the job ad anyway.

Did you attend the briefing session last week?

No I haven’t but I have been a HO Compliance Caseworker before and knew what the manager role entails. Did you attend it?

No, I initially tried to sign up but it required a work teams account and I only have an active personal one. Tried again the following day but didn't get a link. How did the online test go for you? Did you enjoy being a HEO Caseworker?

It went well. I have received an invite for a pre-recorded interview so hopefully it goes well. I didn’t enjoy the Caseworker role as the training was very lengthy and a bit like I was back in college with the assignments etc. The manager role is a little relaxed but they also have operational management roles too where you’re not directly managing Caseworkers. I’m more interested in that. How did you get on with the online test?

I did great with the online test. I have also been invited for the interview. We have 6 days from tomorrow to record our interviews. Yes, the operation management role is what I am also interested in. I guess there are not many people applying for this role compared to other grades or maybe they don't use this site. Fingers crossed for us. Let me know how it goes for you.

They usually give you a role depending on your chosen locations. The last time I accepted a HEO Leadership role, there were various different roles at the same grade. I got sent a location preference sheet that detailed the roles available at different locations. I chose one Team Leader role, and ops manager and a non-management role. I got given a Team Leader role at my preferred location but I didn’t mind that. They will have a certain number of roles as an ops manager in different locations. You can try asking the contact email in the advert about how many roles are of that kind and what locations at. If you are offered a position that you’re not happy with you can usually ask for another but it depends on merit and how well you’ve scored etc if the position is competitive.

Just keep rehearsing and time yourself. It says you will have 3 mins to prepare and 4 mins to answer. And use the success profiles behaviours framework to prepare. All the best!
