I have spoken with someone in recruitment today who has confirmed that all 65 positions have been filled

I’m so confused with it all, I’m on reserve list but haven’t been offered a job but they said I would so I don’t know

If you’re on reserve you’re on an actual reserve list but you haven’t scored high enough for this position. They have ranked it on region and then those who didn’t score as high (usually 4s and 5s) are being kept on reserve. You can enquire as to what position you are in on reserve but there is no certainty you’ll be offered a job. I’m a civil servant already and have sat on a reserve for a year before now with no outcome, it’s unfortunately just the way their recruitment works.

So what locations are currently interviewing from the holding pool?

Belfast. I just got an email to book a second interview

Everyone got the same email saying they’re on reserve list before they got offered a job. That’s how cluster recruitment works

Yes and those who weren’t successful and given a job offer last week are now on an actual reserve list, that’s how civil service recruitment works. If an offer wasn’t received last week you have not been successful in the original demand that was needed, which I have had confirmed by HMRC recruitment.
