could anyone suggest a halls to go to if your going to be studying graphic arts?
hey probably best choosing somewhere within the mount pleasent campus i would think. so there's; Liberty Park, The Railyard, Lennon Studios, Cedar House, Cambridge Court, Apollo Court, Great Newton Hall, Opal Court, Prospect Point, Grand Central, North Western Hall.
i went for the standard ensuite in grand central.. 98 per week. but sure, we get a maintenance loan as well as student loan and bursaries that can cover that

Aye, I chose the shared bathroom. The idea of paying 98 quid a week for my accommodation was rather frightening tbh. Plus I'm not that bothered about sharing a bathroom just as long as my room mates aren't dirty bastads! And it's another 11 quid a week for beer!

I don't mean to sound a bit condescending, but are you sure that's right?I currently pay 78 pounds and a bit every week and that pretty much decimates whatever I get for my maintenance grant. Every time it's paid in, it goes straight back out. I think I'm leftover with about 20 quid.
Bursaries either 400ish or 1000ish pounds in March or spring sometime depending on your parents income. I can't remember when exactly so that really helps.
Just in case, I think you should double check your numbers because it's not cool being neck deep in debt, overdrawn and everything. A few people on my floor didn't budget properly and tried stealing our food because they had no money to eat :/

Well its def 98 a week, my letter came today from student finance tellin me how much im gettin each semester. to be honest, i think my maintenance loan covers it, and im left with a good lot. ive also got a job waitin for me over there, so shouldnt be too bad.
