Solar Eclipse

Anyone else popped outside to see the eclipse?

I'm an absolute sucker for solar eclipses.

Yes I have experienced totality once in my lifetime - I went down to Cornwall in August '99 with my mam for the total eclipse that year (the only area of England that experienced totality). Sadly it was cloudy but it was still an absolutely amazing experience.

Disclaimer: yes of course I have eclipse glasses. Never look at an eclipse without protecting your eyes.

Here's my photo of today's eclipse:

What time was the solar eclipse? Also that moon looks beautiful (the shape and colour).

10-12 thereabouts

I took that photo at 11:08am. That's the sun with the top right hand corner covered by the moon.

The glowing sun is what you see - the moon is covering that top bit.
