Accepting with a firm and insurance choice.

I have received 4/5 university offers, and I'd like to respond to them but I can't until I have received all responses. The fifth university choice that hasn't responded to me yet, is one that I don't mind not getting an offer from, but I'd like to confirm my choices sooner rather than later. So my question is will it work if I withdraw my choice, will I be able to then select my insurance and firm choice right away or will it not change anything, as currently there's no button to click on the UCAS website for me to respond to my choices?

There is actually no need to rush.

Yes, you could select your firm and insurance now, by withdrawing the choice that hasn't responded. But there is no need to rush, maybe that uni is going to give very lenient conditions? Anyway, if you are not going to pick that remaining uni whatever the conditions might be, withdraw and select your firm and insurance.

Have you called the remaining choice to check that you haven’t missed any request emails from them?
Do that on Monday and if there’s nothing been missed ask them when they expect to make a decision.

If you’re not happy with the wait they tell you over the phone then withdraw THAT CHOICE (do NOT completely withdraw your application!)

If this is because your intended Firm choice is twisting your arm about accommodation?

If so, you know that this is just pressure selling, and that there is no shortage of accommodation, and that you are not going to miss out?
