Hey,

I firmed Durham for Law. Still got to get those high grades but there is hope. Does anyone have a good idea about their college preference?

Hi! Good choices, I always hear about Collingwood so I think it will be quite competitive. I'm going non-catered so I'm deciding between the hill colleges. How are you feeling about exams?

Yeah, I mean, I feel it has really nice sports facilities, but then again, living in a castle sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I'm still not super sure. I also thought about not catering, but I feel like, especially in the first year, I will probably be doing so much stuff (societies, work and social life) that it would not make sense to then have to make food also. To be fair, I am super stressed about exams, but with all the work I have put in (probably the same for you since you got into Durham for law), I feel confident enough that exams will go well.

Yeh that makes total sense, I am just a picky eater sometimes, and the idea of set meal times put me off. I know someone who went to Castle and he absolutely loved it, really tried to persuade me. Can I ask what subjects you are doing at A Level, I'm always nosey about exam boards too?

Yeah, fair enough. I still need to decide on it, though. I don't do A levels; I do IB. Also, do you want to talk, maybe over social media, better?

Yep! I have firmed it for International Relations. Thinking of applying to Collingwood, Hatfield, Mary's and John's.

I didn't do an EPQ, I'm afraid. I was doing four Alevels at the time they offered it, but dropped one. I'm hoping they'll be lenient because Theology is tricky, but I'm not really sure :frown:.
