Choosing a career path

I want to take an apprenticeship that eventually leads me to a relatively well paying career that still has an okay work/life balance. I would prefer it being linked to history/english/sociology/geography or something along the lines of that, so just something that isn't really mathsy or admin. I'm considering a solicitor apprenticeship but I also want some other options. I've tried looking at the ucas website etc but I'm still very unsure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Other options include project management and environmental practitioner.
