Edinburgh University Accommodation with down-to-earth people?

Hey everyone,

I’m an ECA student looking for accommodation for next year and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on the best places to meet more down-to-earth people. I’d prefer to avoid accommodations that have a reputation for being super posh (Pollock Halls). Ideally, I’d like somewhere with a good mix of friendly and laid-back people.

I’d also love to hear about the general experience of different accommodations from anyone who’s stayed in them! Any recommendations would be really appreciated.
