TSR News Quiz of the Week #189 (29 March 2025)

It's time for Quiz of the Week again!

Welcome to the latest instalment of the Quiz of the Week series! I will be testing your knowledge of news stories from this week. Visit the master thread for more details of the series, and to sign up for notifications when a quiz goes live!

How it works
This quiz is conducted via Google Forms and there is no need to prove your score for this, as the quiz asks for your TSR username and I can see all responses. Filling in a valid TSR username is a requirement for being placed on the scoreboard. Please feel free to comment your scores below - it's fun to see how others have done!

The tiebreaker question is a free-typed question where the answer is a number. If there's a tie for any of the podium positions, the winner of the prize will be the person who gets closest to the correct tiebreaker answer. (It can also help us spot anyone who looks like they might have received help from the internet as they did the quiz!)

Scoring
The form will automatically score the quiz for you. The prizes awarded are as follows:
:king1: 100 rep
:king2: 50 rep
:king3: 30 rep

Happy quizzing!

With the tiebreaker, who is on the podium?

The tiebreaker is only used to determine a winner usually. But of the ones you tied with you were closest

Apparently from this year onwards the tiebreaker is used for the entire podium.
That's good to know!:gthumb:
