Med application

I was wondering if i would be able to get into med school with these stats and if yes what kinds of places would be best to apply as I don’t really have much of a preference (just decent social activities and best chances og getting in)
UCAT: doing it this summer so idk yet
A level predicted grades: A*AA in bio chem and English lit (ik its a weird 3rd option but i hate maths)
GCSE:988887666(English lit ,bio+chem+physics+English lang,geo,maths+Spanish +business)
I was concerned bcs of my gcse maths being a 6 and everyone apply seems to have insane stats and mine aren’t so great . Thanks

This is good enough for most med schools, barring Oxbridge and maybe some of the London ones.
The thing is, you technically get the same degree from every school (unless you intercalate), so the school you go to doesn't matter.
You should look on the 'which med school should I apply to' forum to see which medical schools play to your strengths, some like ucat, some like personal statement etc.
Best of luck!

Hey, since your 3rd subject isn't maths make sure to double check the entry reqirements for each uni bc I think some still require maths as a 3rd A level. See how your UCAT goes (trust me when I say put in the effort now because it will make or break your application for some unis.) Also check whether the unis rank by ucat after you've hit their grade requirements or if they weigh your gcses, predicted grades and ucat (e.g. Imperial wants you to have a certain minimum of grades and then rank by ucat for interviews while Kings looks at all of your stats together.)
I'd say it depends on what ucat you get. I applied to a range of unis, did one or two ones that you really want, one in the middle that I didnt mind and had slightly lower requirements and one with much lower requirements so I had a mixed bag.

(also with the gcse grades, I got a 5 in drama and it hasn't stopped me from getting all 5 offers (4 med, 1 biomed). Just be strategic with where you choose to apply, and work on your personal statement now/ early so your not trying to complete that and the rest of the application and learn year 13 stuff as well.)

Sorry I'm yapping. Anyways lmk if you need any help. I'll see if I can offer any advice😁
