Can i cancel and resubmit my SFE application

I’ve accidentally applied for SFE using the wrong course and when i go to change the details to change the course it tells me i need to fill in a change of circumstances form and post it to them.
I don’t really want to do that and think it would be much easier to do it all online so i was thinking of just cancelling the application and starting again with the correct course.
Would there be any negative effects to doing this that i might be unaware of?

It’s not worth cancelling to change your course. Cancelling and reapplying will delay getting your finance approved.
What’s the problem with posting the form? Usually SFE will accept the pdf forms uploaded to your account instead of posting.

Delaying the finance getting approved doesn’t really bother me tbh, it’s not like i’m gonna get the money any later. I’m still well within the deadline for applying. Also i just really don’t want to go through the steps of printing out the form, buying letters and stamps and paying to get it posted.
Will SFE actually accept it if i just send the pdf form into the supporting evidence section?

I would try uploading the pdf before cancelling.
You can ask them on the online chat on your account tomorrow

Hi there, you can upload the Change of Circumstances form (CO1) via your online account to update the course information, this is a PDF file, and you can use the guide here to show you how to upload the form: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/student-finance-england-how-to-guide
Once received the CO1 form is currently taking an estimated 6 working days for review. Thanks, Stephen.
