Hi, I'm trying to plan my easter holidays and am actually terrified icl thinking of all the things I need to revise! How much revision should I realistically be doing per day? (how much did you do) Also any advice on how to split my time and what type of revision I should be doing?

OK, last year I sat my nat 5s and I honestly didn’t do that much revision in the holidays, I mostly did past papers in the second week and worked really hard in study leave. This year I made a calendar that has all of my exams and events and things I need to do on it, which will help me plan. I think I’ll probably have one or 2 past papers each day which will take a few hours, and then add in time to mark it. I think I’ll add the things that I struggled with in each paper to a revise list for the next day. The rest of the time I spend studying after/before my past paper will be flashcards, youtube videos, maybe teaching content to my parents/cat so I can understand it better. I recommend using the time to revise in multiple different places (not just your bedroom) so that you won’t be reliant on context cues in the final exam, maybe find a local library to revise in or a favourite cafe, or plan a train journey somewhere for a day out and revise on the way. If you’re in Scotland you can sign up for e-sgoil online webinars that have 3 webinars for whatever subject you choose in the first week, and there’s probably similar things in England/ wherever you are. Don’t completely burn yourself out though, maybe set aside one day per week for doing something you enjoy and having a mental reset from studying, maybe a Friday or a Sunday for seeing friends or relaxing or gardening or literally whatever. Hopefully this helps! And good luck with your exams!
