Duke of Edinburgh Help!!!!

So I had finished all my activities a month ago and my status on my award was sent to award office for authorisation. I’ve checked again today and it says awaiting award leader authorisation.
Anyone know why?
The reason I need to know is that obviously I can’t ask my teacher cus we have 2 weeks off for Easter but also I’m moving after GCSE so won’t be able to collect it .
Please help!
