Uni of Liverpool accommodation

I am studying medicine at UoL 2025 entry, does anyone have any accommodation advice? I've been looking at private accommodation and it seems a lot cheaper than the unis own accommodation. Is there anything I should know when applying etc? Would it be better to go with the unis own? If I get private accommodation, is it worth sharing or getting a one bedroom option?
If you have any advice please let me know

I am also starting at Liverpool in 2025 so I can't offer any first-hand advice, but the accom I was going to apply to (crown place) has sold out. I'm looking at private options too, and all I would say is just to read the terms and conditions thoroughly. I don't think the price means it's bad, just make sure to read reviews

Yeah I’ve been having a look and I actually think they’re nicer than the uni ones, thanks!

Hello, private accommodation near Uni of Liverpool might be better. Not only is the price more affordable but there is also a wide variety of apartment types to choose from, which can meet your requirements regarding apartment location, room type decoration style, etc. You can choose the most suitable room type based on your living habits and budget. It all depends on your preferences. However, I will still recommend several good off-campus apartments for your reference, such as iQ Great Newton House, Capital Gate, and Arrad House. These apartments are close to the school and well-equipped, which might meet your needs.
