Solicitor apprenticeship after UG degree

Is it possible at all to do a solicitor apprenticeship after doing a UG in a different subject matter. E.g. if you had studied Politics and IR and then after graduation go on to do a Apprenticeship degree. Or would it have to be apprenticeship first and then if you want a degree in something else afterwards??

There are numerous firms that allow solicitor apprentices to have a non-law degree and also numerous firms that don't allow them to have any degree - so it depends on the firm.

Yes, they should do. Would be worth emailing the firms you are interested in as not every law firm offers SA's

Would be worth researching Graduate apprenticeships too.

No, the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship is generally for non-degree holders. However, there is a Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship available with some firms. You'll need to check each law firm individually.
As a non-law degree holder you will generally need to do a conversion course and gain a training contract to eventually qualify as a solicitor.
