LNAT Prep

Hi! I'm hoping to sit the LNAT later this year, and I am looking forward and thinking about revision this summer! Apart from Arbitio and the official LNAT resources, what else is best that best emulates the real LNAT and the type of questions it asks? Like for example I've heard some of the textbooks are far easier, so I thought I would ask if anyone had better suggestions? Thanks!

I did my LNAT last year and did badly unfortunately, and i believe it was because i didn’t use the official LNAT question simulator, i would recommend using that, and reading high level texts that you find online (studies, cases etc.) to become familiar with the level of reading in the LNAT.

hey I took my lnat last year and got a decent score (35/42 I think the average was about 21) - one thing I do really regret however is not doing more of the essay practice as I found that super stressful on the day - I would highly recommend reading the news over the few months before ur exam and as ur reading the articles make sure you understand what each is saying as well as forming your own opinion on them! Arbitio is also amazing in the weeks leading up to the test for MCQs as theyre much much harder than the real thing (I would be careful to not use them all up too early as I think theyre the best practice you can get)!!! Hope this helps and good luck (for reference my test was in early October/late September and I started revising for it around late august time) 🩷🩷

Hiiii I sat the LNAT in November, got 30/42 and now have an offer for Glasgow University. I used a book I found on amazon and it was really good! I'll attach the link here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-LNAT-Guide-Techniques-Strategies-dp-191509108X/dp/191509108X/ref=dp_ob_image_bk Does this help? x

I also used a process of elimination technique on my whiteboard. I'd write down A B C D, read the question and when an answer couldn't be possible put a cross next to the letter. This is helpful as rather than trying to find the right answer right off the bat, your left only with what is possible x

Hi thank you for the advice! I had actually heard that this textbook's questions were far easier than the real thing, how do you find it compares?
