EPQ - minimum word count?

My school made everyone do an EPQ even though lots didn't want to. My deadline is coming up in the next few days (techically due in tomorrow but there is some wiggle room). I have not done anything really for my EPQ. I have about 20 sources, and I've currently written only 1500 words. There isn't much more that I can actually write about. If I hand in what already have, but bulked a little bit up, do you think it'd be okay? My EPQ doesn't matter for the university offers I have - my insurance is CDD so I am certain I don't need to worry about getting a good grade for this. I'm really just at a loss for what to do. Nothing I have found online even says I should consider handing this in. I just really don't know what to do anymore and I frankly don't care about what grade i get for this

What exam board and what is your project (essay, artefact etc)?

1500 is too short. You've missed out vital bits or haven't gone deep enough in certain sections.

My problem is that I never did enough research initially because I thought I would be able to drop EPQ (and obviously I was not). So I don't really have much to go off. Do you think I could at least get a D with what I have?? I think I can get up to 3000 words, but I realistically don't think I can squeeze anymore in

Without knowing what you've written, I wouldn't know.
You may still be able to claw some marks back in other sections (e.g. your project log, your presentation etc).

Yeah, I have done the presentation and EPQ log and these are quite detailed. I don't really care for getting an A, I just hate submitting half-finished wotk. Thank you, I will try my best to add more detail in but I can't say if it'll be anything substantial enough to get more marks
