The Student Room Group

the best years of our lives??? :( (AHHHHHHHHHHHH) - my gyg 2025

Hiiiiii,

I'm in year 13, doing A-levels, and genuinely have neverrrr had this little motivation so i hope doing this gyg will help me stop procrastinating even a bit???? I'm studying:
- bio (ocr a)
- chem (edexcel)
- maths (edexcel)
- english language (ocr)

my hobbies / interests include:
- reading!!! absolutely love a romantasy
- knitting and crochet which feels super old person but omg the satisfaction of finishing a project
- anything to do with rabbits / dogs (esp rabbit welfare bc ppl are notttt treating them right)
- true crime. once upon a time (pre exam stress) i'd be watching like 4 docuseries a week (those were the good days)
- going to the gym ehhhh. not necessarily a favourite right now but it feels good once it's done i guess

I'm hopefully going to Cambridge for uni (which feels so insane??) but i gotta get 3 a*s in bio, chem, and maths, yet the revision has gone wayyyy down compared to like literally any other point in my a-levels (super great for this time of year!)
i'm writing this right now because i've been sitting here supposedly revising but actually just scrolling through instagram for no joke the best part of six hours. so. we reset. i have mocks this upcoming week and english coursework due in so i really gotta lock in, even though right now it is not looking hopeful. So! I'm gonna try and do an update on here every day of what i did that day and what i'm trying to do the next day, if nothing else to keep myself motivated but hopefully help others too.

i hope you enjoy ! because i most certainly am not
