I love bio but I don’t know if it’s a really high paying field. I’m doing a level bio chem and maths and I need some help deciding what career to choose - anything that pays a lot.

It's great that you're planning ahead for your future career and hey everyone loves a higher-paying salary. But it's not the only thing to consider. Wellbeing, work/life balance and whether you have the right skills for the role are all things you also need to consider.
Identify Your Interests & Strengths
Do you enjoy problem-solving, research, or hands-on work?
Are you interested in science, business, or technology?
Do you prefer working alone or in teams?
What school subjects do you enjoy the most?
Match Interests to High-Paying Fields
Here’s how different interests can lead to lucrative careers:
Eg Science & Biology - Doctor, Dentist, Pharmacist, Biotechnologist
Do your research and map out interests to careers. Do any of these match yours?
Research Salary & Growth Potential
Use sites like Glassdoor, Prospects, or LinkedIn to check salaries.
Look at job trends in industries like healthcare, finance, or technology.
Network & Seek Advice
Talk to your career advisors and I would really encourage you to go to a HE event where you can chat to the really knowledgeable uni staff on the stand who can answer these questions for you.
